DENVER SKY HIGH:
Not Your Grandfather’s Rotary!
When you want something done, ask a Rotarian. The Rotary Club of Denver Sky High is a new club, chartered in April 2008 and serves the Northwest Denver community, based in the Highland neighborhood. A few of our neighborhood projects:
- The Flower Power Project, bringing flowers to the residents of the Gardens at St. Elizabeth’s donated by the Denver Home and Garden Show
- Volunteering at The Enchanted Gardens of Northwest Denver Garden Tour which benefits The Conflict Center
- Sponsoring students from North High School to attend RYLA, the Rotary youth leadership camp in Estes Park;
- The Bienvenidos Food Bank’s holiday food drive;
- Volunteering at the local community 9Health Fair; and
- Adopting a needy family at holiday time, providing gifts and necessities during the season of sharing
Our community and international projects are ongoing. We welcome volunteers and community partners to become involved at any level. The diversity of our members varies in age, background, political inclinations, vocations and interests but all share a passion for giving back to the community. Come experience the energy of our club! Join us for a meeting, wine and light dinner, and bring a friend. Or contact us about being a guest speaker.
